Anar Ka Sharbat Recipe


1 kg red pomegranate (anar)
Rock salt (kala namak) as required
1 kg sugar
1/2 kg water
1/4 teaspoon potassium meta bi sulphate
Ice as required

How to make Anar Ka Sharbat

  • Peel anar.
  • Boil sugar and water.
  • Boil it to one sugar syrup strand.
  • Take out juice of pomegranate.
  • Let syrup cool, and then add anar ka juice and potassium meta bi sulphate.
  • Fill it in a bottle.
  • Serve it in a glass with water, kala namak, crushed ice.


Khus Ka Sharbat Recipe


3 cups water
4 cups sugar
1-2 teaspoon green colour
1 teaspoon khus essence

How to make Khus Ka Sharbat

  • Mix sugar and water and stir over low heat, till sugar is dissolved.
  • When dissolved, let it come to a boil and cook till thickened – one thread consistency. That is take a drop of the mixture and press between your thumb and forefinger, a thread should form when you separate the fingers.
  • Mix in the essence and colour and store in a clean, airtight bottle.


Gulab Sharbat Recipe


Rose petals (Gulab pati) :-  11/2 cup, picked freshly

Boiling water:- ¾ cup

Cardamom seeds :-   ¼ tsp

Sugar (Cheeni)  :-   ¾ th cup

Lemon Juice (Nimbu Raas)  :-    ¼ th cup

Pomegranate juice  :-  2/3 rd cup

Cold water  :-    5 cup

Method of Preparation:

1)    Take the rose petals and crush them. Pestle and they need to be placed in large bowl.

2)    Now to this add boiling water and in a metal container pour the rose petals.  To this add cardamom. This needs to be kept overnight for close to 8 hours.

3)    In the morning, filter the rose petals using a strainer.

4)    To this add sugar and the bowl needs to be placed on a hot water sink. This needs to kept till the sugar in it completely dissolves.

5)    Once done, filter it again.

6)    Now cool it at room temperature

7)    Take all the ingredients, mix it well and keep stirring it.

8)    To be served in glass along with crushed ice.


Kharbooja Sharbat Recipe


Honeydew melons (Kharbooja):-  2 big nos or 4 small nos

Orange juice (Santra Raas) :-  ½ cup, fresh and strained

Lemon juice (Nimbu Raas) :- ¼ th cup

Khus essence  :-4 drops

Method of Preparation

1)    In case if you are using small melons, then cut it at the top and if using big melons then split it into half.

2)    Now the edge needs to be cut into a zigzag pattern

3)    Now cut a small slice needs to diced from the bottom of the melon, in such a way that a melon can stand upright without falling

4)    Take all the seeds from inside the melon and discard the skin of the melon.

5)    Now take the flesh and mix it in a mixer along with the other ingredients too, till they appear smooth.

6)    This can be served chilled inside the shells of the melons.

Chandan Ka Sharbat Recipe


Sandalwood (Chandan)  :-50 gm

Sugar:-   2 kg

Water :-  1 kg

Orange color :-  1 tsp

Sandalwood essence  :-  2 tsp

Potassium bi sulphate (Meta)  :-    ½ tsp

Method of Preparation:

1)    Take Chandan and soak it in water for close to ten hours.

2)    Strain it.

3)    Boil the Chandan with sugar.

4)    You need to boil it to a sugar syrup stand.

5)    Allow it to cool, once it has cooled add the essence, potassium bi sulphate, and color.

6)    To be put in bottle and to be served with chilled water.

Badam Ka Sharbat Recipe


Almond (Badam) :- ½ kg

Sugar  :- 2 kg

Green Cardamom powder (Elaichi):-one tsp

Water :-  1 ltr

Saffron (Kesar) :- one tsp

Potassium bi sulphate (Meta) :-  ½ tsp

Method of Preparation:

1)    Take Badam and soak it in water overnight.

2)    Remove the outer covering.

3)    Take water; boil it along kesar, sugar and elaichi powder.

4)    Boil it to a sugar syrup strand

5)    Let the syrup cool, once cooled put this to Badam. Grind finely.

6)    Now to this, add potassium bi sulphate and the syrup.

7)    Fill the mix into a bottle.


Anar Ka Sharbat Recipe


Pomegranate (Anar) :- one kg

Sugar:-  one kg

Water  :-  ½ kg

Ice  :-   as per need

Rock salt   :-    as per need

Potassium bi sulphate (Meta)  :-   ¼ tsp

Method of Preparation:

1)    Take the Anar and peel it.

2)    Take water and sugar, boil it.

3)    To be boiled till one sugar strand is formed for syrup

4)    Remove the juice out of Anar.

5)    Let the sugar syrup cool off, once done add the pomegranate juice and Potassium bi sulphate (beta).

6)    This needs to be filled in a bottle.

7)    This can be served along with crushed ice, water and rock salt.


Chandan Ka Sharbat Recipe

50 gm sandalwood (chandan ka chura)
2 kg sugar
1 kg water
1 tsp orange colour
2 tsp sandalwood (chandan) essence
1/2 tsp potassium meta bi sulphate
How to make chandan ka sharbat :
  • Soak chandan in water for 8-10 hours.
  • Then strain it.
  • Boil it with sugar in it.
  • Boil it to one sugar syrup strand.
  • Let it cool, and then add colour, essence and potassium meta bi sulphate.
  • Fill it in a bottle and enjoy with chilled water.

Angoor Sharbat Recipe

1/2 x 3-inch piece of Orange Zest
1/4 tsp Cardamom Seeds (Elaichi)
4 whole Cloves (Lavang)
6 cup Grape Juice (Angoor Ka Raas)

3-inch piece of Cinnamon (Tuj/Dalchini) Stick
2 cup sparkling Water
How to make angoor sharbat:
  • Tie the zest, cardamom seeds and cloves in a small piece of cheese cloth.
  • Place the juice and honey in a large stainless steel pan and bring it to near the boiling point over moderate heat.
  • Remove the pan from the heat, add the spice bag and cinnamon stick, cover, and set aside until the juice has cooled to tepid.
  • Remove the spice bag and cinnamon stick and chill.
  • Add the water before serving.
