Sweet Potato Kheer Recipe

Ingredients:

Water  : – 4 cups

Sago   : – 2 tea spoon

Salt    : – as per taste

Jaggery     : – 250 gms

Coconut    : – 3-4 cups (scrapped)

Cardamom powder   : – ½ tea spoon

Sweet potatoes     : – 500 gms

Method of Preparation:

  1. Wash the potatoes and cut into the small pieces (slices).
  2. Take 2 cup water in the pan and add the potatoes and sago in the water and keep it for stirring till potato become soft.
  3. Now add the jaggery into it.
  4. Using water extort 3 cup of coconut milk and then add into the potatoes.
  5. After adding coconut to potatoes keep it for stirring for 3-5 minutes more.
  6. Include the salt as per taste and also the cardamom powder
  7. Now again stir it for a minute and remove from the gas
  8. Serve it hot.

Baked Potato Soup Recipe

Ingredients

12 Bacon slices
2/3 Cup margarine
2/3 Cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Ground black pepper
7 Cups milk
1 1/4 Cups cheddar cheese, shredded1 Cup sour cream
4 Large baked potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 Green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon Salt

How to make Baked Potato Soup

  • Place bacon slices in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium heat till brown.
  • Drain, crumble and set aside.
  • In a stock pot or Dutch oven, melt the margarine over medium heat.
  • Whisk in flour until smooth.
  • Gradually stir in milk, whisking constantly, until thickened.
  • Stir in potatoes and onions.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  • Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Mix in bacon, cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper.
  • Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until cheese is melted.
  • Baked Potato Soup is ready.

Whole Wheat Potato Bread Recipe

Ingredients-

Whole wheat flour:- 15 cups

Potato (peeled)  :- 1

Oil :- 1/3 cup

Salt :- 1 tbsp

Nut milk (warm) :- 6 cups

Active dry yeast:- .25 oz

Water :- 2 cups

Salt  :-1 tsp

Sweetener:-1/3 cup

Water (warm) :-½ cup

Sweetener  :- 1 tsp

Method of Preparation-

1.      1 tsp of sweetener and yeast should be put in half a cup of water and should be allowed to dissolve.

2.      The peeled potato should be boiled in 2 cups of water.

3.      1 tsp of salt should be added.

4.      The potato should be mashed in a medium bowl and the water should be reserved.

5.      The potato water, the mashed potato, 1/3 cup of sweetener, 1 tbsp salt, milk and oil should be combined in a large bowl.

6.      Yeast should be added when the milk mixture becomes warm.

7.      15 cups of whole wheat flour should be mixed and stirred with a spoon.

8.      The dough should be placed on a surface that is slightly floured.

9.      The dough should be allowed to knead for about 10 minutes.

10.  It should be placed in a lubricated bowl and should be turned to a coated surface.

11.  It should then be covered with a cloth and should be allowed to rise till it gets doubled, which should take about an hour and a half.

12.  It should be punched down and should be kneaded for about 3 minutes.

13.  It should be again placed back in a bowl and allowed to rise till it gets doubled, which will take an hour.

14.  It should be punched down and 4 loaves should be made.

15.  These should be placed in lubricated bread pans.

16.  Again, the dough should be allowed to rise for about 30-60 minutes.

17.  It should be baked for an hour in a preheated oven at 325 degree F.

Simple Potato Vegetable Recipe

Ingredients:
Ghee:1 tbsp
Paneer – 250 Gms
Potatoes – 1 medium sized
Oil –  as required for frying
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Ginger paste – 1 tsp
Green chilies – 2 – 3 nos
Salt – as required
Cumin seeds paste – 11/2 tsp
Milk – ½ cup
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Sugar – ½ tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Water – 1 cup

Method Of Preparation:
1)Take a pan, heat oil and in it fry the potatoes. Keep It aside
2)Follow the same routine for paneer. Put this in warm water.
3)Take ghee in a pan, heat it up and let the cumin seeds splutter.
4)Take the cumin paste and mix it with ginger juice, water and turmeric powder.
5)Keep stirring it for couple of mns
6)Mix the green chilies, potatoes, garam masala powder, salt and sugar. Cover it keep frying it till the potatoes start appearing tender.
7)Now take the oiled paneer out of water and put it along with potatoes.
8)Now add the milk, remaining water and keep mixing it well. Allow it to boil at a low flame. Do this for few mns.
9)To be served hot once done.

Whole Wheat Potato Bread Recipe

15 cup Whole Wheat Flour

.25 oz active dry Yeast (3 packages)
2 cup Water

1/3 cup Sweetener
1/2 cup water (warm)
1 tsp Sweetener
How to make whole wheat potato bread:
  • Put 1 tsp sweetener and yeast in 1/2 cup warm water to let it dissolve.
  • Boil peeled potato in 2 cup water.
  • Add 1 tsp salt.
  • Mash the potato in a medium bowl, reserve the water.
  • Combine the mashed potato, potato water, 1 tblsp salt, 1/3 cup of sweetener, oil and milk in a large bowl.
  • Mix yeast when only the milk mixture is warm.
  • Mix 15 cup of whole-wheat flour and stir it with a help of a spoon.
  • Place dough out on a surface slightly floured.
  • Knead it for ten minutes.
  • Place it in a lubricated bowl and turn to coat surface.
  • With a cloth cover it and allow it to rise till it is doubled, it will take about 1 1/2 hours.
  • Reduce or punch down it and knead it again for 3 minutes.
  • Place it back in a bowl and again allow it to rise till it is doubled, it will take about 1 hour.
  • Reduce it or punch down it and make 4 loaves.
  • Place it into lubricated bread pans.
  • Again allow dough to rise for 30 – 60 minutes.
  • For about 1 hour bake it in a preheated oven at 325 degrees F.

Potato Dahiwada recipe

Ingredients:
green chillies chopped as per taste
3 tbsp chopped corriander leaves
6 potato
1 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
2 tsp jeera powder
salt to taste
4 bread slices
1/2 tsp black salt
1 tsp chat masala powder
1/2 kg curd
2 tsp red chilli powder
oil to fry

 

How to make potato dahiwada:
  • Boil and mash the potatoes.
  • Spice up with salt,1 tsp red chilli, 1tsp jeera powder,1tsp garam masla,1 tsp chaat masala powder, 2 tblsp green corriander leaves, green chilles and mix well.
  • Take the bread slices and cut them in a round shape, with a help of a mould.
  • Apply little water on the round bread slices, just enough water to let the potato mixture to stick to the bread slices.
  • Take approximately 2 tblsp potato mixture and spread on the round slices evenly.
  • Make it smooth.
  • Heat up up the oil for frying and fry the rounds till golden brown.
  • Take off on a paper towel to get off excess oil.
  • Let them cool.
  • Mean while cream the curds and spice up it with common salt and black salt.
  • When the rounds are cool assemble them in a dish and pour out the curd on it.
  • Spice up it with red chilli, jeera powder, garam masala ,corriander leaves and green chillies.
  • Serve with sweet tarmarind chutney

Cheese Potato Recipe

Ingredients:

1 kg potato (alu)
8-10 green onion (pyaj)
2 tomato (tamatar)
15-120 radish leaves (muli patta)
1 tbsp spinach (palak)
1 tbsp bathwa
4 tbsp mustard vegetable (sarson ka sag)
1 tsp black pepper powder (kali mirch)
salt to taste
1 tsp poppy seeds (post ke dane)
1 cup sour cream (khatti cream)
6 tbsp clarified butter (ghee)
300 gm cheese

How to make cheese potato:

  •     Peel potato and cut in the centre into two halves.
  •      Finely chop green onions and tomatoes.
  •      Finely chop radish leaves, spinach, bathua and mustard vegetable.
  •      Grease the baking tray with ghee and put poppy seeds.
  •      Now place potatoes from the cut side.
  •      Bake in a preheated oven for 400 degree Fahrenheit for 1/2 an hour.
  •      Beat cream and cheese in a container.
  •      Heat ghee in a pan and fry onions until it turns pink.
  •      Then add tomatoes, salt and black pepper powder.
  •      Also add cream and cheese.
  •      Then add mustard vegetable and fry for a minute.
  •      Pour this on potatoes and serve hot.
