Badam Phirni Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups milk

2 tbsp rice

3 tbsp sugar

1/4th cup blanched almonds (sliced)

1 tsp green cardamom (crushed)

1/2 tsp kewra essence

silver or gold foil paper (varak)

Recipe to prepare Badam Phirni :

.    Soak rice in water for few hours,
.    Then drain water and grind rice into a smooth paste.
.    In a non-stick saucepan bring milk.
.    Over a moderatly low heat add rice, sugar and cardamom and stir constantly till milk turns thick.
.    Remove from heat and add almonds.
.    Put in serving bowl and chill.
.    Garnish the badam phirni with silver or gold foil paper (varak) and serve.

Badam Ka Sharbat Recipe

Ingredients:

Almond (Badam) :- ½ kg

Sugar  :- 2 kg

Green Cardamom powder (Elaichi):-one tsp

Water :-  1 ltr

Saffron (Kesar) :- one tsp

Potassium bi sulphate (Meta) :-  ½ tsp

Method of Preparation:

1)    Take Badam and soak it in water overnight.

2)    Remove the outer covering.

3)    Take water; boil it along kesar, sugar and elaichi powder.

4)    Boil it to a sugar syrup strand

5)    Let the syrup cool, once cooled put this to Badam. Grind finely.

6)    Now to this, add potassium bi sulphate and the syrup.

7)    Fill the mix into a bottle.

Kesar Badam shake Recipe

Ingredients:

Milk (Dhoodh)  :-  2 glasses

Almond (Badam)   :-  10 nos

Saffron leaves (Kesar)  :-  3 nos

Green cardamom (Elaichi):-   2 nos

Sugar :- 4 tsp

Ice  :- as required

Method of Preparation:

1)     Take Badam and soak it in water for close to 7 hrs.

2)    Take Kesar and dip it in warm milk.

3)    Now take the Badam, milk and Kesar and blend it well in a mixer.

4)    Take the elaichi and grind it into powder till fine

5)    Pour the elaichi into the mixture before serving.

6)    To be served chilled.

Badam Ka Halwa Recipe

Ingredients

1 Cup Almonds
1 Pinch Saffron
2-1/2 Cups Sugar
2 Cups Ghee
3 Cup Water

How to make Badam Ka Halwa

  • Soak almonds in a bowl with boiling water.
  • Remove the skin of almonds and make fine paste by grinding them in a grinder.
  • Boil sugar with one cup of water in a pan, till it turns into syrup.
  • Add almond paste to the boiling syrup and mix it well.
  • Dilute saffron in a little water and add to the syrup.
  • Instantly mix one-cup ghee.
  • As the above mixture turns paste-like, pour the remaining ghee gradually.
  • A batter like mixture will be formed after sometime. Now remove it from the flame.
  • Badam Halwa is ready to serve.

Badam Kaju Pista Burger Recipe

Ingredients:
Almond powder – 100 gms
Sugar – 60 gms & 25 gms & 20 gms
Anjir – 2 pieces
Cashew powder – 50 gms
Chopped almonds & pistachios – 2 tblsp
Chocolate colour, kesar & powdered cardamom – a little
Pistachio powder – 30 gms
Pista colour – a little
How to make badam kaju pista burger:
  • Make a sugar syrup of two-string consistency with 60 gms sugar and one fourth cup of water.
  • Add powdered almond, mix it well and take it off the flame.
  • Cool it.
  • Cut the anjir into small pieces and soak them into one-fourth cup of water for four hours.
  • Grind it well.
  • Add the ground anjir and 25 gms sugar in a madai and heat it on a slow flame.
  • Stir constinuously till it turns sticky in consistency.
  • Add chocolate colour, kesar and powdered cashew.
  • When it gets the consistency of a soft ball, take it off the flame.
  • Add chopped pieces of almonds and pistachios. Cool it.
  • Make a sugar syrup of less than one-string consitency with 20 gms sugar and one-eight cup of water.
  • Add pista colour ot it and take it off the gas.
  • Then add powdered pistachios.
  • Mix it well and allow it to cool.
  • Divide the formerly prepared almond dough into 30 parts.
  • Then divide the anjir mixture and the pistachio mixture into 15 parts each.
  • Take one part of the almond dough and press it a little in the shape of a bun.
  • Place it on a greased butter paper.
  • Then pace one part of the anjir mixture on it.
  • After this, place one part of the pistachio mixture and slightly press it.
  • Cover with another part of the almond dough.
  • Bake these pieces in an oven on 150 degrees Celsius for 10-15 minutes till the burger turns light brown in colour.
  • Cool it.
  • Garnish with kesar.

Kesar Badam Shake Recipe

Ingredients:
2 glass milk (doodh)
10 almond (badam)
2-3 saffron leaves (kesar)
2 green cardamom (choti elaichi)
4 tsp sugar
ice as required
How to make kesar badam shake :
  • Soak badam for 6-7 hours.
  • Dip kesar in warm milk.
  • Now blend badam, kesar, sugar and milk in a mixer.
  • Grind elaichi to a fine powder.
  • Pour it in the glass along with some crushed ice.
  • Serve it chilled.
