Baked Potato Soup Recipe

Ingredients

12 Bacon slices
2/3 Cup margarine
2/3 Cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Ground black pepper
7 Cups milk
1 1/4 Cups cheddar cheese, shredded1 Cup sour cream
4 Large baked potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 Green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon Salt

How to make Baked Potato Soup

  • Place bacon slices in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium heat till brown.
  • Drain, crumble and set aside.
  • In a stock pot or Dutch oven, melt the margarine over medium heat.
  • Whisk in flour until smooth.
  • Gradually stir in milk, whisking constantly, until thickened.
  • Stir in potatoes and onions.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  • Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Mix in bacon, cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper.
  • Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until cheese is melted.
  • Baked Potato Soup is ready.

Fruit Shake Recipe

Ingredients
2 cup Bananas (sliced)
2 cup Strawberries (sliced)
1/2 cup Ice cubes
2 cup Pineapple or Papaya (chopped)
1 teaspoon Honey
1 cup Apples (chopped and peeled

How to make Fruit Shake

  • In a blender blend on high speed a combination of bananas, strawberries, pineapples, papayas, apples, ice cubes and honey.
  • Blend till smooth.
  • Serve immediately for breakfast.

Almond Biscotti Recipe

Ingredients-

Flour  :- 3 cups

Brandy  :- 3 tbsp

Butter :-  ½ cup

Almonds :- 1 cup

Vanilla :-1 tsp

Almond extract  :- 1 tsp

Baking powder  :-  ½ tbsp

Sugar  :- ¼ tsp

Salt  :-  1 cup

Eggs (large) :-  3

Method of Preparation-

1.      Butter and sugar should be mixed.

2.      Almond extracts, nuts, vanilla, brandy and eggs should be combined and mixed well.

3.      Baking powder, salt and flour should be stirred in.

4.      They should be shaped into loaves and placed on a cookie sheet.

5.      The loaves should be baked for about 25-30 minutes and then removed out of the oven.

6.      They should then be cooled slightly.

7.      They should be reduced to half an inch in size and again placed in the cookie sheets.

8.      The loaves should again be baked in a preheated oven at 350 F till both the sides turn brown and fully toasted, which generally takes about 20-25 minutes.

9.      They should be cooled completely and then stored in airtight containers.

Cognac Cookies Recipe

Ingredients-

Cognac :-100 ml

Pecan:- 250 gms

Chocolate chips :-100 gm

Sugar  :- 175 gms

Vanilla wafers:-400 gm

Corn syrup:-60 ml

Method of Preparation-

1.      The chocolate bits should be melted on heat.

2.      The vanilla wafers should be finely crushed.

3.      The pecans should be finely chopped.

4.      All of these should be combined in the melted chocolate along with corn sugar, cognac and sugar.

5.      The wafer crumbs and pecans should be stirred in.

6.      The mixture should be made as smooth as possible and then removed from heat.

7.      It should be shaped into 2 cm balls.

8.      The balls should be rolled in extra granulated sugar.

French bread Recipe

Ingredients-

Whole wheat flour :- 6 cups

Yogurt :-1 cup

Dry yeast :-1 tbsp

Water (warm) :- ½ cup

Water (hot):-1 ½ cup

Salt  :-1tbsp

Method of Preparation-

1.      Yeast should be put in warm water.

2.      After it gets dissolved in water for about 5 minutes, it should be kept aside.

3.      Hot water, yogurt and salt should be mixed in a big jar of water.

4.      Yeast and four cups of flour should be combined.

5.      They should be mixed at low speed in a mixer for about 7 minutes.

6.      The remaining flour should be mixed and kneaded for about 10 minutes.

7.      More flour should be added if the flour becomes sticky type.

8.      The prepared dough should be kept in an oiled bowl and the dough should be coated on both the sides.

9.      It should be allowed to rise in a warm place till it becomes double in size.

10.  Two long loaves should be made for the dough and then placed on a lubricating sheet.

11.  It should be drizzled with cornmeal.

12.  It should be allowed to rise in a warm place for about half an hour.

13.  The top portion of the loaves should be cut with a knife and sprayed with water.

14.  It should be baked in a preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes at 400 F till it turns brownish.

Morning Glory Fruit Shake Recipe

Ingredients-

Banana (sliced):- 2 cups

Strawberries (sliced):- 2 cups

Pineapple or Papaya (chopped):-2 cups

Whole Wheat Potato Bread Recipe

Ingredients-

Whole wheat flour:- 15 cups

Potato (peeled)  :- 1

Oil :- 1/3 cup

Salt :- 1 tbsp

Nut milk (warm) :- 6 cups

Active dry yeast:- .25 oz

Water :- 2 cups

Salt  :-1 tsp

Sweetener:-1/3 cup

Water (warm) :-½ cup

Sweetener  :- 1 tsp

Method of Preparation-

1.      1 tsp of sweetener and yeast should be put in half a cup of water and should be allowed to dissolve.

2.      The peeled potato should be boiled in 2 cups of water.

3.      1 tsp of salt should be added.

4.      The potato should be mashed in a medium bowl and the water should be reserved.

5.      The potato water, the mashed potato, 1/3 cup of sweetener, 1 tbsp salt, milk and oil should be combined in a large bowl.

6.      Yeast should be added when the milk mixture becomes warm.

7.      15 cups of whole wheat flour should be mixed and stirred with a spoon.

8.      The dough should be placed on a surface that is slightly floured.

9.      The dough should be allowed to knead for about 10 minutes.

10.  It should be placed in a lubricated bowl and should be turned to a coated surface.

11.  It should then be covered with a cloth and should be allowed to rise till it gets doubled, which should take about an hour and a half.

12.  It should be punched down and should be kneaded for about 3 minutes.

13.  It should be again placed back in a bowl and allowed to rise till it gets doubled, which will take an hour.

14.  It should be punched down and 4 loaves should be made.

15.  These should be placed in lubricated bread pans.

16.  Again, the dough should be allowed to rise for about 30-60 minutes.

17.  It should be baked for an hour in a preheated oven at 325 degree F.

How to make whole wheat potato bread:
  • Put 1 tsp sweetener and yeast in 1/2 cup warm water to let it dissolve.
  • Boil peeled potato in 2 cup water.
  • Add 1 tsp salt.
  • Mash the potato in a medium bowl, reserve the water.
  • Combine the mashed potato, potato water, 1 tblsp salt, 1/3 cup of sweetener, oil and milk in a large bowl.
  • Mix yeast when only the milk mixture is warm.
  • Mix 15 cup of whole-wheat flour and stir it with a help of a spoon.
  • Place dough out on a surface slightly floured.
  • Knead it for ten minutes.
  • Place it in a lubricated bowl and turn to coat surface.
  • With a cloth cover it and allow it to rise till it is doubled, it will take about 1 1/2 hours.
  • Reduce or punch down it and knead it again for 3 minutes.
  • Place it back in a bowl and again allow it to rise till it is doubled, it will take about 1 hour.
  • Reduce it or punch down it and make 4 loaves.
  • Place it into lubricated bread pans.
  • Again allow dough to rise for 30 – 60 minutes.
  • For about 1 hour bake it in a preheated oven at 325 degrees F.

Tuna Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:
1 can Tuna
1 1/4 cup Milk
2 tblsp Flour
3 tblsp Margarine
1/2 cup Pimento (optional)
1 cup Macaroni (uncooked)
1/2 cup Onion (chopped)
1/2 cup green Pepper (chopped)
1 can cream of Mushroom Soup or Cream of Celery Soup
How to make tuna casserole:
  • Cut fish in a bowl.
  • In boiling water cook macaroni for 8-10 minutes.
  • Drain it and rinse it in cold water.
  • Fry onion and pepper in margarine in a skillet till they become brownish.
  • Combine flour and then milk.
  • Cook till smooth.
  • Combine soup, stirring till it gets smooth.
  • Combine with tuna, pimento and macaroni.
  • Place it in casserole.
  • Bake it at 350° for 30 minutes.

Suger Cookies Hearts Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup Butter (unsalted)
1 cup Sugar
2 Egg
1 tblsp Vanilla
3 cup Flour
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking soda
Icing:
1 cup confectioner Sugar (sifted)
2 tblsp Milk
How to make sugar cookie hearts:
  • Combine butter and sugar till smooth.
  • Mix eggs and vanilla into the butter mixture.
  • Mix well.
  • Combine flour, salt and baking soda together.
  • Combine it with the butter and egg mixture prepared.
  • Mix well.
  • Let it chill for about 2 hours.
  • Reduce the dough into quarters.
  • Roll out one quarter on a slightly floured surface to 1/8” thickness.
  • Shape into heart shapes with help of a knife or cutter.
  • Place it on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees, till the edges are brown, it will take about 6-8 minutes.
  • Let it cool.
  • How to make Icing:
  • Combine confectioner sugar and milk together till smooth.
  • Spread it on the cookies.
